I'mma bastardized Ukrainian.

Tue Oct 13, 2009, 6:10 PM
  • Mood: Neutral
  • Listening to: Wish You Were Here / Pink Floyd.
  • Reading: A Clockwork Orange / Anthony Burgess, my brothers.
  • Watching: Reality Bites.
  • Eating: SOMETHING SOON HOPEFULLY.
  • Drinking: Pepsi.
Fun fact: I have horrible memory.

"Stolen" from :iconasstipetakeswing: , :iconrivermist: , :iconsallyface90: , etc.

1. What was the first song that got you into The Beatles?
Ehh. I'm pretty sure when I was little that my mum still turned up the radio in the car whenever they were on, could have been anything.
I had a friend on my block though that had "Yellow Submarine" though, I accidentally stole it and never gave it back, I forget if I knew them before that though.

2. What was the first song that got you into The Rolling Stones?
Probably Satisfaction as usual, School of Rock soundtrack, but probably another song that I heard on the radio once again. I should really listen to them more, I don't think I've never really heard songs by them that I disliked even a little. I watched The Darjeeling Limited and their use of Play With Fire was awesome, I had to look it up again and I love that song - [link]
I remember associating them before though, with Rolling Stone magazine and etc. It's great that they're still alive too and (I think) making (or at least playing) music even at their age now, I'll probably be like that too one day.

3. What was the first song that got you into Elvis?
Ehhh, I've really been off and on with Elvis, though most of his songs are just way too corny for me to like. There's only a few I really rather like. I can't remember the first ever song I heard by him, probably Hound Dog or something, one of the only songs I like by him.

4. What was the first song that got you into Led Zeppelin?
Wooow, good question. Dazed and Confused, Stairway to Heaven, anything they kept playing on my local rock station that I always used to listen to. When I first heard Immigrant Song though, I was like, "This is brill." One of the only classic rock bands I really still like.

5. What was the first song that got you into The Kinks?
You Really Got Me was played a lot on the radio, I kind of like that song, not really. I watched Juno over and over again though, and now love A Well Respected Man. Probably one of those other bands I should really listen to more. Lola, eh.

6. What was the first song that got you into Queen?
When I was a little, semi-retarded girl once again, I definitely remember really liking We Will Rock You, I think. Ridiculous times. Rather not think about it.

7. What was the first song that got you into AC/DC?
I'm on and off AC/DC once again. Sometimes I'm like, "what the hell" and listen to them to laugh at something, otherwise they're not exactly a band that fits my changing moods. Fuck everybody that wears their t-shirts and don't even know them, though. I'm sick of that mass-marketed shit on bands anyway. Anyway, I think the song would have been TNT or some shit like that, I always used to scream, "FIRE!" because of that.

8. What was the first song that got you into Pink Floyd?
Another one of the only classic rock bands I still find worth listening to. I don't know about the first song. Another Brick In The Wall, or something, whatever was constantly played on the same radio station mentioned previously again. Good attention catcher, this band, well known but still very different from other bands at times, I think. Some of my love in British music. My mate Sara and I used to always just lie/sit down together and listen to Wish You Were Here and do nothing else but rot, too, good times. My mum also admitted to me the other day that when she was about my age, she'd take her friends up to her room and listen to Pink Floyd in the dark with some sort of neon light and they'd smoke and talk and shit, awesome.
How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat, anyway.

9. What was the first song that got you into Nirvana?
Have to make it aaall difficult, hm. Most likely something off of the Nevermind album, as pretty much every song on that record seemed to have become a single. Probably Smells Like Teen Spirit, like with everyone. I will never hate Nirvana. Never never never. I remember though, when they used to be played all the time on the radio once agaaain, my mum told me their name, but I misinterpreted and thought they were called, "Nevada," like the state. It was way back in sixth grade. I was just getting into better music. I was young. Another band Sara and I would constantly listen to, as that was and probably still is her favourite band. And then time went on when people kept telling me that they were jealous of my '90s/Kurt hair, whatever that meant.

10. What was the first song that got you into The Who?
My Generation, probably. I still mostly like their old songs. My favourite is probably Happy Jack. I love the whole mod era, obviously. Still need to see all of Quadrophenia. It's brill. [link]
I think it was when I was into Green Day back in the day when I looked into their influences and found The Who.

You're missing out a lot of bands here. Hmm. I am in harmony with Pink Floyd though. And I feel like eating one of those wraps they make for us at school, mmm.

Stolen from :iconrivermist: .

Why did you join this site?
Because I'm an artist, obviously. And I never really saw a site quite like this one.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
Well, my real first name is, "Zhahira" and "Rotting" comes from my band's name and us acting all goofy and changing our last names like The Ramones did. Also, "Rotting" because I always had this thing that has to do with being a teenager and maybe slightly smelling sometimes with my awful greasy '90s fucking Kurt Cobain hair or something.

What is your current icon of?
Rachel Goswell of Slowdive. [link]

How many watchers do you have and how many people are you currently watching?
According to dA, I watch 106 people and 100 people watch me. Where are the other six? Up my arse, apparently.

Do you have more than one account?
My old one, which I abandoned because the user name was shite.

Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA.
Hahaha no because if I try, the rest will be offended and continue to not comment on this journal entry.

How many people on here do you actually know in reality? Post their avatars.
:iconasstipetakeswing: Brittany.
:iconfreakydeakydawn: Dawn.
:iconbrambie: Jessica.
:iconbloodshedboyx: Ali, my brotha from the same motha.
:iconfiregoddess528: Amanda who is not Palmer.

Do you comment, fave, or both?
Comment when I have something to say, fave when I like it. Can it be that simple? Indeed.

What do you typically post on deviantart?
Everything, basically, that I can or like to do.

Do you participate in clubs or contests here on DA?
I used to be in some clubs like the one for The Horrors, however all seem to be abandoned by their own owners or I just don't give a shit to post. Contests, no.

What is your most popular deviation?
According to my dA, it's "It's Simple: Kill the Batman" but then again I sent that one into that Joker club, so yeah.

What's your favorite submission in your favorites gallery?
There's millions of favourites in there by so many different people that are amazing. I couldn't say.

What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Bare human feet, sometimes human hands, sometimes some parts of human anatomy.

Are you a subscriber?
Even if I still do art and submit it, my poor ass says no and no one gives a shit, so whatever.

How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
I don't know and probably don't want to know.

Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
I type like the wind, grasshopper. I have memorized the keys without even looking at them. I've used the computer for a very long time, brother.

What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Art-wise, why I draw in lines and draw abstract, weird things, why I take photographs of random things, etc.
Otherwise, if I'm a cross-dresser, a man or a woman, what size shoe I am when it's not necessary to know, etc.

What is the most annoying comment you get?
Nothing really, I don't get many on here.

What inspires you?
Uhhh everything. Music.

Do you use any traditional media?
Ink, mostly, black ink from pens, not really anything else.

Do you associate people online with their icons?
Sometimes, ahahaha.

Have you ever suggested a Daily Deviation?
No, but I look through those a lot.

Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Not really. If I ever considered to leave something, it was the internet in whole, or this country. Ahem.
